This advanced class discusses the ethics of medical interpreting in depth and how they have major impact in the interpreting process. It emphasizes the importance of always improving interpreter techniques, ensurng a deeper understanding of interpreter ethics, creating greater awareness of culture and how, when properly addressed, they can impact outcomes.
This course is structured around the guidelines and strategies as set forth by the National Council for Interpreters in Health Care and is designed to provide 3 hours toward CCHI National Interpreter Re-Certification.
